## The ideas behind PixelGlass

- **Publication**: Your site, its newsletters and its members, at an address of your own: name.pixelglass.me or your own domain.
- **Post and page**: Posts are your dated writing; pages hold what lasts. Both are written in the same editor and kept in its history.
- **Staff**: The people who run the publication, each with a role: owner, admin, editor or author. Every plan has unlimited staff.
- **Member**: A reader with an account, who signs in with a code by email. A member is free, paying or comped.
- **Newsletter**: A list that members subscribe to. A publication has as many as it needs, and every post can go to one.
- **Tier**: A paid membership with a monthly price, a yearly price or both, and an optional free trial.
- **Circle**: A named group of members with posts only they can read. It has no price; staff or your app decide who is in.
- **Badge**: A name and a picture given to a member, shown beside their name on every comment.
- **Theme**: The Liquid templates that give the site its look. 9 come with every plan.
- **Block**: A live chart or small program inside a post, made by your agent and run in a sandboxed frame.
- **MCP server**: The address an AI agent connects to, /pixel/mcp on every site, with 68 tools.
- **Markdown twin**: The same post as clean Markdown at its address plus .md, for answer engines and agents.
