A tier has a name, a description, a price a month, a price a year or both, a free trial and the benefits a reader gets. **Price in the currency your provider takes**, from dollars and euros to won and naira.

Connect Stripe in one click, Paystack for Africa, or Dodo Payments as the merchant of record where the others don't reach. **Payments go to your own account, with no application fee.**

## Readers manage their own plan.

A member's account page shows their plan, its price and when it renews. They open the provider's billing portal to change their card, or cancel at the end of the paid period, **without writing to you**.

## Questions

### Does PixelGlass take a cut of my membership revenue?

No. PixelGlass takes no platform fee on reader payments, on any provider. You pay a fixed monthly plan, from $9, and keep what readers pay you, less your payment provider's own fees.

### Which payment providers does PixelGlass support?

Stripe (connected in one click through Stripe Connect), Paystack (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa) and Dodo Payments, a merchant of record that handles tax for the countries Stripe and Paystack do not serve, including Korea.

### Can I offer a free trial on a paid membership?

Yes, on Stripe and Dodo Payments. Set the trial days on the tier, from 0 to 365, and the plans readers choose from show how many days are free. Paystack has no trials.

### Can I put a paywall on some posts and not others?

Yes. Every post has its own Who can read setting: Public, Members only, Paid members only or Specific tiers. A locked post still shows its title, cover and excerpt.

### Can members cancel by themselves?

Yes. On their account page, a member opens Manage billing to use the provider's billing portal, or presses Cancel membership. The plan ends at the end of the paid period.

### Can I give someone a free membership?

Yes. On the member's page, comp them on any tier on sale, with no end date or until a day you choose. They read everything the tier opens, and the roster shows them as comped.
