# Turn on Developer mode. Sign in once.

> Add your PixelGlass site to ChatGPT as an app in Developer mode and sign in. ChatGPT then writes and publishes on your site as you.

ChatGPT connects to a PixelGlass site the way Claude does: **with a sign-in, never a key you copy around**. It then works as you, inside your role.

## By hand, in the admin

1. In your site's admin, open **Settings › MCP setup**, choose **ChatGPT** and copy the address.
2. In ChatGPT, open **Settings › Apps › Advanced settings** and turn on **Developer mode**.
3. Create an app with the name MCP setup shows, and the address you copied as its URL.
4. Sign in to your site when ChatGPT asks, and press **Allow**.

ChatGPT connects on the web, and your site must be on https.

## With your agent

> Show me my five newest posts and whether each is published.

> Draft a post about our spring opening hours, tag it News, and leave it as a draft.

> Publish the draft called “Market day” tomorrow at 9.

The tools it calls: `list_posts`, `create_post`, `publish_post`.

## Examples

- **A café's notices.** A café owner asks ChatGPT to turn her notes into a post about holiday hours. **The draft waits for her** in the posts list.
- **A club secretary's Monday.** A rowing club's secretary has ChatGPT schedule the week's race results for the morning.
- **An author's agent, an editor's word.** A student paper's reporter drafts with ChatGPT. An editor reads the draft and publishes it.

## Questions

### How do I connect ChatGPT to PixelGlass?

Copy the address from Settings › MCP setup. In ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode under Settings › Apps › Advanced settings, create an app with that address as its URL, then sign in to your site and press Allow.

### Can ChatGPT publish posts on PixelGlass?

Yes, when the person who connected it is an editor, an admin or the owner. An author's ChatGPT writes drafts, and an editor publishes them.

### Do I need a key for ChatGPT?

No. ChatGPT signs in to PixelGlass with OAuth, and the connection shows in Settings › MCP setup, where Remove disconnects it.

### Can ChatGPT work on every site I own?

Yes. Create the app with pixelglass.co/mcp, your PixelGlass account's server, and ChatGPT works on each site the account owns.
