# One press. The agent is off.

> Remove an app or a key in Settings › MCP setup and the agent is off your site at once. Connected through your account? Remove the app there.

Every agent on a PixelGlass site comes in through a key or a signed-in app, and each one is listed. **Remove it, and its next request is refused.**

## By hand, in the admin

1. Open **Settings › MCP setup**. **Your keys** lists each key and each signed-in app, marked **App**, with when it was made and last used.
2. Press **Remove** beside the app or the key. Its next request is refused.
3. For an app you connected through your PixelGlass account, open your account page at pixelglass.co. **Apps** lists it, and **Remove** there takes it off every site.
4. To connect again, follow the steps in **Settings › MCP setup** once more.

A key belongs to one person. Each person removes their own, on their own MCP setup.

## With your agent

An agent cannot remove its own key: no tool does. Disconnecting is a person's step, in the admin or on the account page.

## Examples

- **A laptop left on a train.** A writer's laptop goes missing with Claude Code on it. From her phone she **removes the key on Settings › MCP setup**, and the laptop's agent is refused from then on.
- **One app, every site.** A studio runs four client sites through one account connector. When it stops using ChatGPT, one Remove on the account page takes it off all four.
- **A tidy list.** An editor sees a key that was never used and removes it, keeping only the apps he works with.

## Questions

### How do I disconnect an AI agent from PixelGlass?

Open Settings › MCP setup and press Remove beside the app or the key under Your keys. PixelGlass refuses the agent's next request.

### Does disconnecting undo what the agent did?

No. The agent's changes stay, and each change to a post is a version you can restore from the post's history.

### How do I take an app off every site at once?

On your PixelGlass account page at pixelglass.co, Apps lists the apps connected to your account. Remove takes one off the account and off every site.

### Where else are my keys listed?

Settings › API shows the same keys, because one PixelGlass key opens both the agent's door and the admin's JSON. Remove works there too.
