# One change. Every post it should touch.

> Tick posts on the list, or select every post a filter finds, and change their authors, tags or access in one go. By hand or with your agent.

Tick posts on the PixelGlass posts list, or select every post your filters find, and change them together. **One change, all or nothing**: if one post refuses it, none of them change.

## By hand, in the admin

1. Open **Posts** or **Pages**, and narrow the list with Status, Language, Author, Tag, Access or a search.
2. Tick the posts you want. Once one is ticked, **Select all** takes every post the filters find.
3. In the bar that opens, choose **Authors** to replace or add authors, or **Tag** to add or remove a tag.
4. Choose **Access** for Public, Members only or Paid members only, or **More** to feature, stop featuring or delete.
5. Press the change in its menu: **Apply**, **Add tag**, **Remove tag** or the verb under More. The list says how many posts changed.

## With your agent

> Add the tag Archive to every post tagged Events 2024.

> Make every post tagged Recipes members only.

> Put Lena on the byline of all the posts about the night market, after the authors already there.

The tools it calls: `list_posts`, `list_tags`, `change_posts`.

## Examples

- **A new writer on old posts.** A food magazine adds its second writer to the byline of the forty posts she co-wrote, **in one Apply**.
- **Members only, from the second year.** A newsletter about chess sorts its posts by Newest published, ticks the second year and sets Access to Members only.

## Questions

### How do I change many posts at once on PixelGlass?

Tick them on the posts list, or select every post your filters find, then choose Authors, Tag, Access or More in the bar and press Apply.

### What can I change in bulk?

The authors, a tag to add or remove, who can read (public, members or paying members), featured or not, and delete. The same bar works on the pages list.

### What if one post refuses the change?

Nothing changes. A bulk change on PixelGlass is all or nothing, and the list names the post that refused it.

### Who can make bulk changes?

Editors, admins and the owner. Each change counts as an edit to every post it touches.

### Can my agent change many posts at once?

Yes. An editor's agent finds the posts with list_posts and makes one change to all of them with change_posts, all or nothing.
