# Your agent drafts it. You send it.

> From a list of links to a ready draft: your agent writes the issue, adds the cover, tags it and fills in the search fields. You read it and send it.

A weekly issue is many small jobs: gather, write, picture, tag, describe. **One request to your agent covers them all**, and you send the email from the publish page once you have read it.

## By hand, in the admin

1. Open the draft your agent left in **Posts** and read it in the editor.
2. Press **Publish**. Under **Publish to**, choose **Site and email**, and pick the **Email design**.
3. Press **Send a test to me** to see it in your inbox, then press **Next**.
4. Choose the **Newsletter**, narrow it with **Labels** if you want, and choose **When**: Now, or Later with a time.
5. Press **Publish**.

Publishing and sending need an editor's role or higher.

## With your agent

> Find last week's issue tagged Weekly and read it, so this one follows the same shape.

> Write this week's issue from the five links below, with a short intro and a paragraph on each. Leave it as a draft.

> Upload the photo I attach as the cover, tag the issue Weekly, and write its meta description.

The tools it calls: `list_posts`, `get_post`, `create_post`, `start_editing_post`, `upload_media`, `set_feature_image`, `update_post_settings`, `finish_editing_post`.

No agent tool sends an email. publish_post puts a post on the site alone, and a post already out on the site is not emailed after. For an issue that goes by email, the agent leaves the draft, and you send it from the publish page.

## Examples

- **A food newsletter's Friday.** A food writer pastes the week's best links into Claude on Thursday night. On Friday morning **she reads the draft over coffee** and sends it to her list.
- **The swell report.** A surf club's agent drafts the weekend report from the forecasts the secretary pastes in, with the beach photo as the cover.
- **An analyst's digest.** An analyst's agent writes the weekly digest in the shape of the last one, tags it Weekly and leaves it for him to send to paying members.

## Questions

### Can my agent send my newsletter on PixelGlass?

No. No PixelGlass agent tool sends an email. The agent writes the draft, and an editor sends it from the publish page with Site and email or Email.

### Can the agent schedule the post?

Yes, for the site alone. An editor's agent schedules a post with publish_post and a time. An issue that goes by email is scheduled from the publish page, under When.

### Can the agent follow the shape of last week's issue?

Yes. It finds last week's issue with list_posts and reads it as Markdown with get_post, then writes the new one the same way.

### Will I see the agent working on the issue?

Yes. An agent that calls start_editing_post shows in the editor as writing the post, and while you have the post open, its writes are refused.

### Does PixelGlass start my agent every week?

No. The issue starts when you ask your agent for it.
