Does it work with Ghost(Pro) and self-hosted Ghost? +

Yes, both. PixelGlass produces standard Ghost themes that work on any Ghost installation. Connect via Admin API for one-click deploys, or download a .zip and upload it through Ghost’s admin panel — whichever you prefer.

Do I need to know how to code? +

No. Describe what you want in plain English — “make it minimal,” “bigger photos,” “add a members page” — and the AI writes the theme code. If you’re a developer, there’s a full code editor built in for fine-tuning.

What if I leave PixelGlass? Can I keep my theme? +

Absolutely. Your theme is a standard Ghost theme — Handlebars, CSS, JS — not a locked format. Download the .zip anytime. It runs on any Ghost site, with or without PixelGlass. No vendor lock-in, ever.

What happens if the AI breaks my theme? +

You’re always editing on a preview site, not your live one. Changes only touch production when you explicitly click deploy. And every change is versioned, so you can roll back to any previous state in one click.

Does PixelGlass host my production site? +

Solo and Studio include a cloud Ghost preview for building and previewing your theme — not production hosting. When the theme is ready, deploy it to your own production Ghost. If you want us to handle production hosting too, Handsoff includes managed hosting as an option.

How does pricing work? What’s a credit? +

Solo is $15/month with 1 preview site and 50 AI credits. Studio is $49/month with 5 preview sites and 500 credits. One credit = one message to the AI. A complete theme typically takes 10–30 credits. Top-ups start at $10 for 100 credits.

Is there a free trial? +

Yes — 7 days free, no credit card required. You get a full Ghost preview and enough credits to build and deploy a complete theme.

Is PixelGlass affiliated with Ghost? +

PixelGlass is an independent product, not made by or affiliated with the Ghost Foundation. The founder is a former Ghost core engineer. Ghost® is a trademark of The Ghost Foundation.

Will PixelGlass support WordPress or other platforms? +

Ghost first, because it’s what we know best. Other platforms are on the roadmap — if you’d use one, drop a note and tell us which.
