Paid memberships

Your readers' money.
In their own currency.

PixelGlass knows 139 currencies, each with its own decimals. Won and yen have no cents, dinars have three, and a price is kept exactly the way the currency counts it.

Say it to your agent

Write a /membership page that shows my tiers in won, with each price as the plans screen shows it.

  • write_site_page
  • read_site_page
  • edit_site_page
  • render_page

Two ways to do it.

By hand

In the admin

  1. Open Settings › Payments and choose a provider under Sell through.
  2. For Stripe or Dodo Payments, choose your currency in Currency. Paystack reads the currencies from your account, and asks you to choose when it holds more than one.
  3. Press Connect. Every tier is priced in this currency.
  4. Press New tier and type the prices. The field shows the currency's symbol and how many decimals it takes.
  5. Press Save. Readers see the price in that currency on the plans screen and at checkout.

With your agent

In Claude, ChatGPT or your editor

Write a /membership page that lists my tiers with their prices, as the plans screen shows them.

Add the yearly price beside the monthly one on my /membership page.

The tools it calls

  • write_site_page
  • read_site_page
  • edit_site_page
  • render_page

No tool connects a provider or prices a tier, so the currency is set by hand in Settings › Payments. A site page reads each price from the site, in the currency and format the plans screen uses.

For example

  • A magazine priced in won

A Seoul culture magazine sells its tier at ₩5,000 a month. No decimals, no conversion, the price a Korean reader expects.

  • A newsletter in naira

A Lagos business newsletter connects Paystack and sells in naira, the currency its readers hold.

  • A journal in dinars

A Kuwait research journal prices its tier in dinars, with the three decimals the dinar has.

Questions, answered

Which currencies can I sell in on PixelGlass?
PixelGlass knows 139 currencies across its three providers. Stripe and Dodo Payments each take most of them; Paystack takes naira, cedi, Kenyan shillings, rand and US dollars.
Where do I choose the currency on PixelGlass?
When you connect a payment provider in Settings › Payments. Every tier is then priced in that currency.
Does PixelGlass handle currencies with no decimals, like won or yen?
Yes. PixelGlass keeps every price in the currency's own smallest unit, so ₩5,000 is five thousand won, and a price in won with cents is refused.
Can I sell one tier in dollars and another in euros?
No. On PixelGlass a publication sells in the one currency of its connected provider, and every tier is priced in it.
