What you can do
with PixelGlass.
Each guide is one thing a publication can do, shown two ways: by hand in the admin, or with the AI agent you already use.
Getting started
- Getting started Start a blog Sign up with your email, choose an address and start writing. 14 days free, with no card. Set it up by hand or with your agent.
- Getting started Start a blog from Claude Connect PixelGlass to Claude or ChatGPT and ask for a blog. Your agent reserves the address; you add a card at Stripe. 14 days free.
- Getting started Set up your publication Name your publication, write its line, add a logo, choose its languages and its theme. Do it in the welcome walk, in Settings, or with your agent.
- Getting started Choose a plan Seven plans, every feature on each. They differ in newsletter emails a month and storage, and the emails you do not send roll over for 12 months.
Writing and publishing
- Writing and publishing Write and publish a post Write a post in the PixelGlass editor, check it in your theme, and publish it to your site, your newsletter or both. By hand or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing Schedule a post Pick a day and a time, and PixelGlass publishes the post on that minute, with its newsletter if you chose one. By hand or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing Restore an earlier version Post history keeps the last 50 versions of every post. See what changed, who changed it, and restore any version in the editor.
- Writing and publishing Add a live chart to a post Ask your agent for a chart, a calculator or a small program, and it lands in the post as a block readers use on the page. In the editor or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing Add images and video Add pictures, YouTube or Vimeo video and your own films to a post, set their width, and give it a cover. In the editor, or ask your agent for the pictures.
- Writing and publishing Edit many posts at once Tick posts on the list, or select every post a filter finds, and change their authors, tags or access in one go. By hand or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing Organise posts with tags Tag posts as you write, make the first tag the primary one, and give every tag its own page on your site. By hand or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing Write alongside your agent Your agent says in the editor that it is writing a post, and holds off while you have the post open. Every change it makes is a version you can undo.
- Writing and publishing Make an About page Write an About page in the editor and put it in your menu, or let your agent build it as a page of its own design. By hand or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing · Early access Build a directory of pages A collection is a tree of pages: surf spots by country, region and spot, each level a page at its own address. Build it by hand or with your agent.
- Writing and publishing · Early access Make your own editor card Ask your agent for a card you will use again, such as a carousel or a pull quote, then insert it and fill it in the editor, in any post.
Newsletters
- Newsletters Start a newsletter Every PixelGlass site starts with a newsletter. Name it, choose who joins, and send any post to it. Set up by hand; your agent writes the issues.
- Newsletters Send a post as an email Publish a post to the site and email, or email it alone. Pick the list, the readers and the design, then send now or later. Your agent drafts it.
- Newsletters Run several newsletters Run a weekly letter, a digest and a briefing side by side. Readers choose their lists, and each post goes to the one you pick. By hand, with your agent.
- Newsletters Add a subscribe form Put a subscribe form anywhere on your site. Each address confirms with one email before it joins a list. With a theme that has one, or with your agent.
- Newsletters See who opened your newsletter Every send has a campaign page: emailed, delivered, opened and clicked, the clicks on each link, and every recipient with what their copy did.
- Newsletters Design your newsletter email Choose Classic or Plain for each send, see it as it will arrive, and send a test to yourself. Your theme's fonts and your accent, built for mail clients.
- Newsletters Set a reply-to address Choose where readers' replies go: one address for the publication, or one for each newsletter. Each is confirmed first. Set in the admin by an admin.
- Newsletters · Early access Send from your own domain Send your readers' email from newsletter@yourdomain.com, not a PixelGlass address. Add the domain, paste three DNS records, and it switches when they verify.
Members and community
- Members and community Let readers sign in Readers sign up and sign in with a six-digit code by email, with no password. Turn it on, place the doors in your menus, by hand or with your agent.
- Members and community Moderate comments Hide a comment, show it again or delete it with its replies, ban a reader from commenting, and close a post's conversation. By hand or with your agent.
- Members and community Give members badges Make a badge with a name, a line and a picture, give it to members, and it shows beside their name on every comment. By hand or with your agent.
- Members and community · Early access Make a private circle A circle is a group of members with no price, and posts only they read. Make one, put people in it, lock posts for it. By hand or with your agent.
- Members and community · Early access Let readers share posts Members share short posts and photos on your site, liked and replied to, and your team moderates them beside the comments. By hand or with your agent.
- Members and community · Early access Import your subscribers Bring your list in from a CSV or JSON file: match the columns, choose the newsletters and labels, and nobody gets an email. Request import first.
- Members and community · Early access Sign readers in with your app Readers signed in to your app arrive signed in on your PixelGlass site. A short signed token from your server, a secret only the owner makes.
- Members and community Manage your member list Find any reader by name or address, filter by status, plan, newsletter and label, add a person by hand, and change many members at once.
Paid memberships
- Paid memberships Sell paid memberships Connect Stripe, Paystack or Dodo Payments, make tiers with monthly and yearly prices, and lock posts for the readers who pay. No platform fee.
- Paid memberships Put a post behind a paywall Lock any post for members, for paying members or for chosen tiers. Readers outside see the title and the excerpt. Do it in the editor or ask your agent.
- Paid memberships Choose a payment provider Stripe, Paystack or Dodo Payments: which one fits where you and your readers are, what each asks of you, and why PixelGlass takes no fee on any.
- Paid memberships Offer a free trial Give new paying members free days before the first payment. Set the trial on a tier, from 1 to 365 days, on Stripe or Dodo Payments.
- Paid memberships Comp a member Comp a reader on any tier, for good or until a day you choose: a guest writer, a partner, a press pass. They read what the tier opens and pay nothing.
- Paid memberships Sell in your own currency Price your tiers in won, naira, euros or any of 139 currencies. Choose the currency when you connect Stripe, Paystack or Dodo Payments.
Design and themes
- Design and themes Change your theme Try any of the 9 themes on your own site, fill in its settings and make it live. Do it in Settings › Design or ask your agent.
- Design and themes Design a theme with your agent Describe the look you want. Your agent edits the theme's templates and styles, checks each page and sends you the link. Every step can be undone.
- Design and themes Preview a theme before it goes live See your own site in another theme, page by page, before readers do. Use the Design frame by hand, or a private preview link from your agent.
- Design and themes Undo a theme change Every change to a PixelGlass theme is kept. Look at any earlier version on your site, then restore it, in Settings › Design or with your agent.
- Design and themes Edit your menus Change the links in your site's masthead and footer menus. Add, reorder and remove them in Settings › Design, or ask your agent.
- Design and themes Update a bundled theme A new release of a PixelGlass theme merges over your own changes. Pick a side where they meet, or let your agent carry your design through.
- Design and themes Add code to every page Paste an analytics tag, a chat widget or a site verification into the head or foot of every page with Code injection. Owners and admins only.
Agents and MCP
- Agents and MCP Connect Claude Add your PixelGlass site to Claude as a custom connector and sign in. Claude then writes, publishes and designs as you, on web, desktop and mobile.
- Agents and MCP Connect ChatGPT Add your PixelGlass site to ChatGPT as an app in Developer mode and sign in. ChatGPT then writes and publishes on your site as you.
- Agents and MCP Connect a coding agent Make a key in Settings › MCP setup and paste one command or file. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI and more then work on your site as you.
- Agents and MCP Know what an agent may do An agent on PixelGlass works as the person who connected it, inside that person's role. See what each role allows, and what the agent refuses.
- Agents and MCP Let your agent run the weekly issue From a list of links to a ready draft: your agent writes the issue, adds the cover, tags it and fills in the search fields. You read it and send it.
- Agents and MCP Disconnect an agent Remove an app or a key in Settings › MCP setup and the agent is off your site at once. Connected through your account? Remove the app there.
Search, AI search and analytics
- Search, AI search and analytics Get found in AI search Every PixelGlass site serves llms.txt, a Markdown twin of every post, feeds and a sitemap. Here is what you add, by hand or with your agent.
- Search, AI search and analytics Set a post up for search Write the meta title and description, choose the address, add a share picture. PixelGlass writes the rest of the head. By hand or with your agent.
- Search, AI search and analytics Read your traffic The Dashboard shows visitors, views, sources, countries and devices, with no cookie and no banner. What each figure means, and how to filter it.
- Search, AI search and analytics Track campaign links Tag a link to your site with utm_source, utm_campaign or ref, and see the visitors it brought on the Dashboard. Newsletter clicks are tagged for you.
- Search, AI search and analytics See who is reading now The Dashboard counts the visitors on your site in the last five minutes, and counts again every half minute. Then read today by the hour.
- Search, AI search and analytics Fix broken links PixelGlass checks every link in a newsletter as it goes out and tells you which look broken. Fix one, and every copy already sent leads to the new address.
Developers
- Developers Use PixelGlass as a headless CMS Add .json to any address of your site and read posts, pages, tags and authors with a content key. Write in PixelGlass, show it in your own code.
- Developers · Early access Sync members from your app Keep your app's users and your PixelGlass members in step over the admin's JSON: find by address, add, change, label, and change many at once.
- Developers Read your notifications from code New members, comments, paid plans, sends and agents' posts, as JSON with a staff key. Every event of the audit log too, for owners and admins.
- Developers Make a staff key A staff key acts as you, inside your role, on the admin's JSON and the MCP server. Make one, copy it once, remove it to close it.
Running a publication
- Running a publication Connect your own domain Put your PixelGlass site on blog.example.com or example.com: type the domain, add the DNS records it shows, and PixelGlass checks them for you.
- Running a publication Invite your team Invite writers, editors and admins to your PixelGlass publication by email, each with a role that sets what they may do. No price per seat.
- Running a publication Publish in many languages Add languages to your PixelGlass site and translate each post into them. Every translation gets its own address, feed and search listing.

- Running a publication See who did what The audit log lists everything that happened at your publication, and who did it: staff, readers, agents and PixelGlass. Notifications show what matters.
- Running a publication Make your site private Close your PixelGlass site to everyone but your staff, before a launch or for a newsletter that lives in the inbox. One setting in Settings › General.
- Running a publication Reset your site Delete every post, member, file and setting and start your PixelGlass publication again on the same address. The owner's alone, and it cannot be undone.
