Search, AI search and analytics

Who came, from where.
Without a cookie.

The Dashboard is the first screen of your admin. Every line on it is a filter: press a source, a page or a country, and the whole tab follows it.

Say it to your agent

My top post this month is “The night ferry to Busan”. Draft a follow-up post in the same voice.

  • list_posts
  • get_post
  • create_post
  • update_post_settings

Two ways to do it.

By hand

In the admin

  1. Open Dashboard. Overview shows your visitors and views, your latest post and your top posts.
  2. Choose the period: Today, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. Today is drawn by the hour, and every figure shows its change from the period before.
  3. Open Web traffic and press a figure, Visitors, Views, Visits, Bounce rate or Visit duration, to chart it.
  4. Under the chart, read Pages, Entry pages, Sources, Campaigns, Countries, Devices, Browsers and Systems.
  5. Press any line to filter the whole tab by it. The × on its pill takes the filter off.

The Dashboard is for editors and up. Staff who are signed in are not counted, and data older than 13 months is deleted every night.

With your agent

In Claude, ChatGPT or your editor

My top post this month is “The night ferry to Busan”. Draft a follow-up post in the same voice.

These three posts brought the most visitors last week. Write each one a sharper meta description.

The tools it calls

  • list_posts
  • get_post
  • create_post
  • update_post_settings

No tool reads the Dashboard, so your agent cannot see your traffic. Read the figures here, then tell your agent which posts to build on.

For example

  • Where the readers came from

A newsletter about chess presses one forum under Sources and sees which of its posts that forum reads, then writes more of them.

  • A country worth a translation

A design blog finds a third of its visitors in Brazil under Countries, and starts to publish in Portuguese.

  • Phones first

A recipe site sees most visits under Devices are on a phone, and picks a theme with a short header.

Questions, answered

Where do I see my traffic on PixelGlass?
On the Dashboard, the first screen of the admin. Overview shows the headline figures and the top posts; Web traffic shows visitors, views, visits, bounce rate and visit duration, with the lists under them.
Does PixelGlass analytics use cookies?
No. PixelGlass counts page views with no cookie and keeps no IP address with the stats. A visitor is a code that changes every day.
Can I filter my PixelGlass analytics by source or page?
Yes. Every line on the Web traffic tab is a filter: press a page, a source, a campaign, a country, a device, a browser or a system, and the whole tab narrows to it.
How long does PixelGlass keep analytics data?
13 months. Data older than that is deleted every night.
Am I counted when I read my own site?
No. On PixelGlass, staff signed in on the site's address count nothing.
Can my agent read my analytics?
No. No tool on the PixelGlass MCP server reads the Dashboard. You read the figures, and your agent writes and edits the posts they point to.
