Getting started

An address.
Then the first post.

Sign up on pixelglass.co with your email and a code, choose an address, and your site exists. The first 14 days are free, with no card. Then name it, choose a theme and write, or let your agent set it up with you.

Say it to your agent

Set up my new publication with me. It is a blog about city cycling.

  • start_setup
  • update_publication
  • create_theme
  • activate_theme

Two ways to do it.

By hand

In the admin

  1. Go to pixelglass.co/signup, type your email and press Continue.
  2. Type the six-digit code PixelGlass emails you.
  3. Type your name, choose your address under pixelglass.me and press Continue. The site is made at once, on its free trial.
  4. In the admin, connect your agent, or press Set up without an agent.
  5. Name the publication, choose what it publishes in and its theme, say whether readers will pay, and press Start publishing.

With your agent

In Claude, ChatGPT or your editor

Set up my new publication with me. It is a blog about city cycling.

Call it Two Wheels, with the line “Notes from the bike lane”, and publish in English and Dutch.

Show me two or three directions for the look, then build the one I choose.

The tools it calls

  • start_setup
  • update_publication
  • create_theme
  • activate_theme

The trial with no card starts here, by hand. To make the site from Claude or ChatGPT instead, connect PixelGlass at pixelglass.co/mcp: your agent reserves the address, and you add a card at Stripe.

For example

  • A cycling blog by the evening

A commuter signs up over lunch, connects Claude on the welcome screen, and has a named, styled site by the evening.

  • A bakery, set up by hand

A baker types the name, adds the logo, picks a theme and presses Start publishing. Three starter posts and an About page wait for her to rewrite them.

  • Private until it is ready

During the trial the site is for its owner alone, so a new writer drafts a month of posts before anyone reads one.

Questions, answered

How do I start a blog on PixelGlass?
Sign up at pixelglass.co with your email, type the code PixelGlass sends you, and choose an address under pixelglass.me. The site is made at once, and its admin walks you through the name, the languages, the theme and payments.
Do I need a card to try PixelGlass?
No. A new PixelGlass site starts on a 14-day trial with no card. An account has one such trial at a time; a second site starts with a card at Stripe, with the same 14 free days.
What is locked during the trial?
During the PixelGlass trial the site is private, for its owner alone, and a post goes to the site without an email. Choose a plan in the admin's Billing, and the site can go public and send newsletters.
What happens when the trial ends?
The PixelGlass admin waits at Billing, and the site stays private, until the owner chooses a plan.
Can my agent set up the site for me?
Yes. On the welcome screen, connect Claude, ChatGPT or a coding agent, and say “set up my publication”. It calls start_setup, asks a few questions and builds a first draft of the site with you.
